The Awsaniom Rush period []
In 1971, The Gear Islands found a weird source named Awsaniom, a source that can give people cool powers. Then, tons of people from different islands in Skylands searched for it. The Gear Islands made tons of mining technology in this era. It ended when there was no more Awsaniom.
The Magical Evil War period []
In 2001, an evil spirit raised evil magic creatures to destroy Skylands. The Gear Islands made magic-proof weapons to beat the spirit. After tons of bones broken, The Gear Islands had destroyed the spirit.
